The Mission and Goals of the Virginia Demonstration Project
Increase numbers of domestic students pursuing STEM degrees by
- Enhancing interest in and attitudes about STEM
- Strengthening peer, family, and school support
- Ensuring long-term inclusiveness of women and minorities in science and technology programs
- Increasing numbers of students taking advanced-level mathematics and science courses
